Jazz class will focus on technique such as isolations of the body, improving performance quality and developing a strong understanding of movement.

Students will be exposed to various styles of jazz such as Broadway and Commercial to help develop a well rounded dancer.

Tap class develops rhythm, style and sound. Students will learn how to create an instrument with their feet. This class is fun and different as we get to work for a variety of steps and clear sounds from our tap shoes. Timing and rhythm is a large technique we learn as well as adding performance to create a dance.

Lyrical will incorporate many of the foundations of jazz and ballet technique, including suspension and release, fall and recovery, the use of momentum and connecting breath with movement.

Dancers will explore their emotional connection to music and movement.

Hip hop is a high-energy class with a mixture of styles. We teach different combinations in street dancing, popping, locking and commercial. Classes will encourage students to bring plenty of personality to create their own style. Hip hop dance works towards having strong movements as well as suspended, musicality and creativity.
